Spotcycle download available for iOS (4.1.3) that addresses changes to system feeds

We’ve just released a minor patch to Spotcycle for iOS  (version 4.1.3) that addresses issues when the data feed for a bike share system changes. Spotcycle will now detect when a city’s bike share feed changes when you load the application and automatically update the feed. This means that any changes to the data feed will be transparent to you the next time you launch Spotcycle. Thank you to all our users who have been sending us feedback! We really appreciate your help in making our app better!

Tiny bug fix to Spotcycle for iOS released (4.1.2)

Our team just pushed a minor bug fix to Spotcycle for iOS where the last refresh timestamp sometimes was not appearing to update even though the station data was correct. Download it from the iTunes App Store if you haven’t already! Also, we’re taking the opportunity to let you know about our upcoming reboot to Spotcycle for iOS and for Android. We’re really excited to get these updates out so bike share users can take advantage of the summer cycling season with Spotcycle!

Spotcycle release 3.4.1 for iOS and Android resolves a few minor bugs and improves performance

We’ve made a few minor updates in Spotcycle 3.4.1 for Android and iOS devices to resolve a few issues with the application crashing, bugs with some generated links, and we’ve made a number of performance improvements. You can download the latest version of Spotcycle with these updates from here. Spotcycle 3.4.0 update adds bike routes feature to Android and user-friendly improvements

Our Spotcycle development team worked hard through the dreary winter months to make sure bike share cyclists can make the most of the new biking season! Spotcycle version 3.4.0 adds bike route recording for Android among other enhancements for a more user-friendly experience. Spotcycle welcomes Nashville B-Cycle

Folks in Music City can now make the most of their B-cycle bike share! Spotcycle has added the newly inaugurated Nashville B-cycle to its list of supported cities. This system boasts 20 stations nestled in the the downtown area with a total of about 190 bikes. Best all, there's no need to download anything if you already have Spotcycle! Spotcycle listens: Android update 3.3.1 removes direct calling function from Google Places and using contacts for Google directions

We recently released Spotcycle v.3.3 for Android devices which included a number of convenient features when searching for directions and points of interest. Our Android users, however, spoke up and were put off about the changes to the terms and conditions which required permission to access to the user's phone contacts when using Google directions and direct calling for points of interest. Our latest update to Spotcycle (version 3.3) adds a number of useful features and improvements to iOS (coming soon) and Android, in particular, a rehauled and easier to use interface for Android devices. Spotcycle adds Charlotte B-Cycle bike share to its roster

The newest bike share scheme to join Spotcycle's roster is Charlotte B-Cycle in North Carolina. Our app now supports Queen City's 200 bicycles on 20 bike stations set up in and around Uptown Charlotte. Now, bike share users can join the long-time Charlotte cyclists by taking advantage of the 60+ miles (96+ km) of bike paths and lanes scattered throughout the city (soon to be supported by Spotcycle as well).
